Our Review
HSBC always come out with great limited time offers and this is yet another good one. The card is well suited to someone who is looking to transfer to funds to another card, as they can make good use of the 0% for 8 months. The card also comes with No Annual Fee.
The HSBC Card does have one aspect which is not so good, at that's the purchase (17.99% p.a.) and cash advance interest rates (21.99%p.a.). Cash advance interest rates are never low! so this is not unusually high. The purchase rate is not as high as some cards but certainly isn't classified as low.
Our Conclusion: A great card for balance transfer and no fees, the card is well suited to transferring funds. However if you plan on spending and not paying back within the month you will pay a bit over average on the purchase interest rate. Overall a good card from a big secure bank.
